Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Location: Hybrid- Dominican Republic - Santo Domingo Employment Type: Permanent / Full-TimeEquity: Stock vesting based on performance goals and tenure with the companySalary: 6,000USD/Month
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with hands-on experience in fintech, credit, factoring, banking, investment funds, debt funds, or financial institutions, particularly with experience in fundraising and debt financing.
The CFO will be responsible for strengthening the financial management of both companies and preparing the organization for its next stage of growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute the funding strategy for Kompii and Fraxion.Structure and negotiate credit facilities, private debt, equity, and co-investment mechanisms.Manage liquidity, treasury, and obligations to investors and creditors.Develop budgets, financial projections, and short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.Measure the actual profitability of each product, portfolio, channel, and market.Develop and strengthen portfolio reporting, including:DelinquencyAgingVintagesLossesRecoveriesConcentrationRisk-adjusted returnsStrengthen internal controls, financial policies, and corporate governance.Coordinate financial consolidation and intercompany flows across entities in the United States, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.Prepare financial models, data rooms, and reports for banks, funds, and investors.Work closely with the CEO, partners, and Credit, Collections, Operations, and Accounting teams.Support fundraising initiatives and manage relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions.
Required Qualifications8–15 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in senior leadership positions.Proven experience in one or more of the following:FintechCreditFactoringBankingInvestment fundsDebt fundsMicrofinanceCompanies with portfolios financed by third parties
Strong knowledge of:Treasury managementFinancial planningCredit portfolio analysisDebt structuringFundraising
Ability to build sophisticated financial models and present financial information to investors and Boards of Directors.Strong understanding of portfolio performance indicators, including:PAR 30/60/90AgingRoll ratesVintagesExpected lossesPortfolio concentrationCost of fundingRisk-adjusted profitabilityExperience working with regional operations or international corporate structures.Fluent Spanish and professional English.
Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a strategic and hands-on executive who can both develop the financial strategy and execute it.The ideal candidate should be comfortable negotiating a credit facility, reviewing cash flow, analyzing portfolio quality, building financial models, working with investors, and establishing the financial controls required to support sustainable growth.Specific experience in debt fundraising, debt structuring, and debt portfolio management will be highly valued.
