Civil Engineer

Role Description The Civil Engineer at Planeación, Operación y Desarrollo de Infraestructura will support the planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on urban and industrial developments in CDMX, MEX. This full-time, on-site role involves preparing engineering plans, drawings, and specifications; performing calculations; and assisting in the coordination of project schedules and resources. The Civil Engineer will conduct field inspections, collect site data, monitor construction quality, and help ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. The role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in project meetings, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The Civil Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement in design practices, safety performance, and project delivery efficiency.Qualifications Ability to apply Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design principles to infrastructure projects.Experience supporting Civil Engineers in project planning, coordination, and execution.Skills in Planning for project timelines, resources, and permitting processes.Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and hydraulic analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.Professional registration or progress toward licensure is preferred.Proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with local and national construction standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
