Claims Manager

Role Description This full-time, on-site Claims Manager role is based in Tegucigalpa. The Claims Manager oversees end-to-end claims processes, including intake, review, documentation, and resolution of insurance claims. Responsibilities include assessing claim validity, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate claim settlements in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring claim workflows, identifying process improvements, preparing regular reports on claim performance, and supporting the training and guidance of claims staff. The Claims Manager also handles escalated or complex cases, maintains high standards of customer service, and contributes to risk management and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
Ability to manage the full claims lifecycle, with strong skills in Claims Handling and Claims Management.Solid understanding of Insurance and Insurance Claims processes, regulations, and industry best practices.Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating claim data, identifying trends, and making evidence-based decisions.Experience in team coordination, coaching, or supervision within a claims or insurance operations environment.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer service and conflict resolution.Proficiency in using claims management systems and standard office software tools.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Knowledge of local insurance regulations and compliance requirements in Tegucigalpa or the broader region is an advantage.
