The company also offers comprehensive support such as fiscal advisory, foreign trade audits, merchandise consolidation in U.S. warehouses, transportation, prior merchandise review, and reporting to various authorities.Role Description The Clasificador y Compliance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tijuana, BCN. This role is responsible for classifying goods under the correct tariff codes, verifying customs documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable foreign trade and customs regulations. Daily activities include reviewing invoices and product descriptions, preparing and updating classification records, coordinating with operations and logistics teams, and supporting the preparation of reports for authorities. The role also involves monitoring changes in customs regulations, assisting with audits and regularization processes, and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve classification or compliance issues.Qualifications Strong knowledge of customs classification, tariff codes, and foreign trade regulations, especially for Mexican customs operations.Experience reviewing and interpreting commercial documentation (invoices, packing lists, product specifications) for accurate classification and compliance.Ability to work with logistics and customs management processes, including import/export procedures, regime changes, and temporary imports control.Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate compliance and reporting records.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients in a professional manner.Proficiency with office and customs-related software tools; familiarity with digital platforms used for customs reporting and audits is a plus.Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, Logistics, Law, or a related field preferred.Previous experience in a customs agency, import/export company, or compliance function is highly desirable.Willingness to work on-site in Tijuana, BCN and adapt to regulatory changes and operational demands.
