POSITION SUMMARYThe Clinical Specialist is responsible for clinical development and education for O&P customers and the sales team across Latin America, Central America, and Mexico for all prosthetic and orthotic products. The role is responsible for developing in-depth knowledge, expertise, and the ability to effectively demonstrate the full range of products and services offered by the Company in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics.The Clinical Specialist works closely with the sales team to coordinate and execute training events. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and delivering clinical workshops for customers, O&P schools, and regional, national, and international. Must reside in Mexico and/or be willing to relocate to Mexico.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Responsible for identifying opportunities related to product research, product development, and business growth. The role responds to technical inquiries associated with product returns, concerns, and complaints, assisting customers in finding effective solutions.Assist the Area Sales Director in strategic planning to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for each territory within the region.Conduct high-level demonstrations and presentations on the Company’s full range of prosthetic and orthotic products in a variety of settings.Respond to customers' technical inquiries, complaints, and clinical feedback.Report on all field activities, training courses, and customer interactions.Evaluate and implement programs to reduce product returns.Ensure that sales representatives across different regions meet the required technical competency standards.Respond to requests and requirements from Area Sales Management.Responsible for maintaining professional credentials and standards.Keep current with technical knowledge and product innovations from both the Company and other leading manufacturers of prosthetic and orthotic products.Attend educational and professional workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional associations.Maintain positive working relationships with regional, national, and international sales teams.Contribute to the collective knowledge, skills, and expertise of the Clinical Team.All employees must be aware of, understand, and receive general training on the Company’s Quality requirements. This training is provided during the onboarding process and New Employee Orientation; additional quality training is job-specific.Exercise sound stewardship of company funds and assets within established guidelines, and maintain an honest and professional attitude as a representative of the company at all times.Contribute to a safe work environment by maintaining their own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills are essential for success in this position.Available to travel approximately 60% of the time, both within Mexico and internationally. Demonstrated knowledge and proficient use of the Company’s products. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEMinimum of five (5) years of experience following professional certification. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. ABC Certified Prosthetist (CP) or Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO).Must demonstrate strong presentation skills. Must be fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
