Cloud Engineer

About the role

LanceSoft, Inc. is looking for a Cloud Engineer / SRE with extended hands-on experience in AWS and a good understanding of cloud computing infrastructure components and technologies. The role involves managing and monitoring the AWS platform, working with key AWS services, troubleshooting cloud-related issues, supporting CI/CD workflows, working with containerization technologies, and deploying and troubleshooting infrastructure using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the AWS platform.
• Work with key AWS services and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
• Support CI/CD workflows and work with containerization technologies.
• Deploy and troubleshoot infrastructure using Terraform.
• Analyze CloudWatch logs and troubleshoot issues with existing GitHub workflows using workflow run logs and debug.

Requirements

• Extended hands-on experience with AWS is mandatory; experience with GCP is good to have.
• Good understanding of cloud computing infrastructure components and technologies, including KMS, S3, IAM, EC2, Service Catalog, CodeCommit, SCPs, Control Tower, StackSets, and Lambda Functions.
• Intermediate knowledge of Python or Golang is required.
• For Python: ability to create medium-level solutions using procedures and classes; good understanding and working experience with Python Dicts, JSON, and YAML; and ability to review code written by other programmers.
• For Golang: ability to create medium-level solutions using functions, structs, and interfaces, and good understanding and working experience with libraries.
• GitHub Actions experience and overall CI/CD knowledge are important and mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand existing GitHub workflow code, including expressions, context, environment variables, jobs, runners, and secrets usage.
