About the role

Food For The Poor is an international relief and development organization and an interdenominational Christian ministry serving primarily in 17 countries of the Caribbean and Latin America. Its work includes emergency relief, clean water, medicines, educational materials, homes, support for orphans and the aged, skills training, and micro-enterprise development assistance.

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer designs, implements, optimizes, and supports the reliability of Food For The Poor’s Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The role supports the transition from traditional on-premises infrastructure to a secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud-based environment. This position is to be hired in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, administer, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage, App Services, load balancing, DNS, and related platform components.
• Provide technical ownership across Azure infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, monitoring, CI/CD, disaster recovery, and cloud migration.
• Establish technical standards and deployment practices, lead complex infrastructure initiatives and troubleshooting efforts, and provide technical guidance to colleagues and leadership.
• Collaborate across Technology Services while aligning with infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, application development, and project management responsibilities.
