Position OverviewCashera is seeking a motivated and results-driven Collection Specialist to join our team in Santo Domingo. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, collecting outstanding payments, maintaining positive client relationships, and helping reduce delinquency rates while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesContact customers by phone, email, and text message regarding past-due accounts.Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements when appropriate.Monitor accounts and maintain accurate records of collection activities.Follow up on missed payments and resolve payment-related issues.Identify and escalate high-risk or severely delinquent accounts.Work closely with the underwriting, customer service, and operations teams.Maintain collection performance targets and recovery goals.
QualificationsMinimum 2 years of collectionsStrong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage a high volume of accounts and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and collection software.Fluent English (written and spoken) required.Experience in fintech, lending, merchant cash advance (MCA), or financial services
