Summary Role:
GAC Commercial team supports S&P Global Ratings Commercial team in conducting business, market and competitor research, data management, analysis, insight generation, visualization and commercial operations such as AML-KYC. The position(s) would play a critical role in assembling custom pitches, collaterals, pre-meeting packages, value books, reporting, operations, and executing other key activities aimed at strengthening our clients' business development initiatives and commercial strategy.
Functional Responsibilities
Crafting content such as Pre-Meeting Briefings and Value Books in PowerPoint format tailored to specific companies or sectors for the Sales teamUndertake tasks encompassing data management, analysis, competitor and business research, insights generation and presentation developmentIdentify resource and databases for prospect research, utilizing open sources such as Google, company websites, annual reports, etc.Prepare mandated periodic reports and dashboards, leveraging business intelligence tools for data collation, mining, and dashboard/report creationPerform required KYC screening, review negative media alerts, identify Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and heightened risk individuals and organizations by documenting and confirming the information obtained on the client as required by the company's AML-KYC proceduresUtilizing a variety of independent research sources and screening tools (such as World Check, Dow Jones, Actimize etc.) for screening and due diligenceConduct reviews of existing clients for status, data veracity and amendments, status, country of incorporation and assign appropriate risk classificationMaintain a working knowledge of anti-money laundering related requirements including BSA, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, SEC, FINRA, and other applicable U.S. and International regulationsStay current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviors, issues, policies, regulations, criminal typologies, industry best practices, and developing trendsWork on LATAM market studies and desk research such as Market Penetration, Competitor & Product Analysis, Market sizing, etc.
Mandatory Candidate Profile:
Proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentationsAdvanced level in English both verbal and writtenExperience of working in data management, research, analysis and insight generation rolesGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to cultivate client relations, actively engage with client teams and communicate effectivelyPositive attitude,strong teamwork skills; adept at collaborating within an international team setting
Good to Have Candidate Profile:
Proficiency in other Microsoft tools such as VBA, Power BI, Tableau, Python etc. is added advantage.Experience of working in Sales, Marketing, Market Outreach teams is an added advantageFamiliarity with conducting due-diligence, AML-KYC, issues and suspicious transaction monitoring systemsKnowledge of tools such as World Check / DJX / Factiva and anti-money laundering relatedrequirements including BSA, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, SEC, FINRA, and other applicable U.S. and International regulations
Essential Qualification:
Bachelor degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
