Communications Manager

About the Role:The Communications Manager is responsible to provide support to all lines of business for locations across North America. You will be responsible for partnering with Elevate's executive team, support staff, and station leaders to craft and distribute company messaging. This role is integral to the success of the organization, giving voice to vision for all internal and external communications. The following duties fall within the scope of the Communications Manager:
Key Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller, writer, and editor, capable of producing compelling content across platforms while managing projects and comms deliverablesPlan, direct, and implement communications campaigns aligned to broader messaging strategy while tailoring content to North American audience segmentsThe successful candidate can see the excitement and wonder within aviation, and chase the storiesCreate and execute a dynamic, comprehensive social media strategy across internal and external platformsCreate marketing, promotional, and written content for both print and electronic venuesCreate and deliver press releases, media relations content, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.Lead external communication strategy and messagingWrite engaging, brand-aligned content for the company website, marketing collateral, and thought leadershipAdapt tone to engage a variety of audiences – company executives, frontline staff, industry leaders, prospective team membersMonitor industry trends and competitor messaging to inform content strategyUtilize a variety of social media platforms on behalf of the company to represent the brand properly both internally and externallyDevelop and execute internal communications initiativesContribute to editorial calendar planning and ensure timely delivery of contentPrepare and distribute via company platforms professional communicationsCapture and manage company footageOther administrative functions as assigned

Qualifications:Full command and ownership of the English language and a passion for using itStrong writing, editing and proofreading skillsStrategic thinker who can balance creativity with business objectivesAbility to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and trendsProficiency in Microsoft Office, AI writing tools and content management systemsAbility to establish and maintain positive, professional internal and external work relationships with all stakeholders and interest groupsPlay a key role in organizational culture & style whereby all colleagues are empowered & valuedDigital experience requiredAbility to travel up to 25%Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred
