Provide companionship through meaningful conversations and engaging activities that uplift residents' spirits. Perform light housekeeping including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility to ensure client safety. Maintain daily records of client activities, observations, and condition changes to communicate with family or healthcare providers. Support errands such as shopping and transportation to encourage client independence. Foster a positive environment by demonstrating empathy, respect, and understanding of each client’s unique needs. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role; prior elderly care experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, compassionate demeanor. Ability to efficiently perform housekeeping and personal care tasks. CPR and first aid certifications preferred but not required. Experience with documentation and scheduling software is a plus.
