About the role

The Concierge owns the guest’s overall Group, Loyalty & Concierge Class experience, delivering personalized premium service. As part of the Guest Relations team, the Concierge is the liaison between guests, corporate teams and Hotel and Marine Departments, anticipating guest needs and expectations.

At Celebrity Cruises, the Concierge works with a team of Concierges who take ownership of concerns, questions and queries. The role is shipboard.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact, advocate and representative for guests, with increased focus on the V.I.P list, Loyalty, Groups and Concierge Class.
• Own the organization and seamless execution of Group, Loyalty and Concierge events, coordinating with the stakeholders who facilitate them.
• Respond to escalated guest concerns in an upscale, considerate, professional and positive manner, showing empathy and actively listening.
• Maintain the physical appearance and ambiance of the Concierge lounge and Loyalty Spaces.
• Anticipate and meet guest needs and expectations with timely, personalized service.

Requirements

• Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests.
• 2-3 years of background experience as a Front Desk/Receptionist in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Experience handling different types of events with 80 or more guests.
• Guest services shipboard experience is an advantage.
• Outstanding hospitality, communication and organizational skills, effective decision-making abilities, and keen attention to detail.
