Company Driver - Regional

Job Summary: Sibley Transportation, Inc. is looking for a qualified, safety-minded professional to fill the position of full-time Driver. This person will be responsible for communicating with their respective dispatcher, staying up to date with their paperwork, and ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time. Applicants from outside of Maine are encouraged to apply, including PA, NY, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, etc. Benefits: -401(k) -Roth 401(k) -Dental Insurance -Health Insurance -Paid Time Off -6 Paid Holidays -Vision Insurance Duties/Responsibilities: -Ensure deliveries are made safely and on time. -Maintain contact with the dispatcher; they will advise on traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards. -Complete the pre-check of the truck before each trip. -Work closely with all departments to ensure timely delivery of customer freight. -Maintain drop trailer pools and locations. -Help facilitate the timely maintenance of company-owned equipment. -Always keep dispatch software up to date. Preferred Qualifications -CDL Class A Required Skills/Abilities: -Clean driving record -Interstate experience -Valid DOT medical card -A team-minded attitude! Education/Experience: -3+ years of experience. Physical Requirements: -Prolonged periods of sitting. -Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
