OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced Custom Builder to oversee the full construction lifecycle of our homes—from groundbreaking to final orientation. In this role, you’ll ensure each home is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional homes and exceptional experiences.
What You’ll Do
Construction ManagementManage home construction through all phases across multiple job sitesEnsure homes meet company standards, building codes, and customer expectationsCoordinate inspections and maintain strong relationships with local inspectorsVisit homes daily to identify issues and dispatch subcontractorsTrade & Vendor CoordinationCollaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendorsMaintain accountability for workmanship, timelines, and scopes of workEnsure job sites remain clean, organized, and customer‑readyBudget & Cost ControlManage project budgets and monitor cost performanceReduce overages and prevent repetitive construction errorsSupport financial accuracy through consistent documentationSafety & ComplianceMaintain a safe work environment and enforce OSHA and company safety policiesEnsure compliance with all building codes and regulatory requirementsCustomer ExperienceServe as the primary point of contact for homebuyers during constructionConduct walk‑throughs and address questions throughout the buildLead new‑home orientations and ensure homes meet quality expectations at move‑inWarranty & Post‑Close SupportManage warranty requests and determine corrective actionsSchedule trades, oversee repairs, and maintain quality assurance after closing
What You Bring
Core StrengthsCustomer‑focused mindset with strong communication skillsDependable, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast‑moving environmentHigh integrity and a collaborative, team‑oriented approachTechnical ExpertiseStrong understanding of new‑home construction, scheduling, and cost controlAbility to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and scopes of workKnowledge of building codes and all phases of residential constructionProficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office, and Google WorkspaceExperience & Education5–7 years of residential construction experience requiredHigh School Diploma/GED requiredBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
