Everty is seeking a Construction Project Assistant to support the Senior Project Manager in the planning, coordination, execution, and control of construction, renovation, and property improvement projects across Costa Rica.The successful candidate will act as the company’s representative at project sites, following up with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.This is a hands-on technical role involving active participation at construction and project sites. It is not a purely administrative assistant position.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport projects from planning and scope definition through construction, handover, and closeout.Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, deadlines, risks, and outstanding actions.Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, vendors, and internal teams.Follow up on commitments, milestones, deliverables, and corrective actions.Coordinate site meetings, inspections, punch lists, work sequences, and site logistics.Read and interpret architectural, structural, and electromechanical drawings.Proactively identify conditions or issues that may affect project costs, quality, or schedules.Verify that completed work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and established quality standards.Support the preparation and administration of project budgets, quotations, scopes of work, cost breakdowns, progress claims, and forecasts.Request, review, and compare vendor and contractor quotations, including pricing, scope, specifications, timelines, and commercial terms, to support procurement and project decisions.Prepare vendor price comparison analyses and provide clear recommendations based on cost, quality, compliance, and overall value.Track direct and indirect costs, budget commitments, variations, and change orders.Maintain updated project schedules, action logs, meeting minutes, technical files, and supporting documentation.Prepare project reports and executive updates in both English and Spanish.Travel regularly to company properties and remain temporarily at project sites during critical phases when required.
