Corporate Engagement Lead

About the role

Sinergia Animal is seeking a Corporate Engagement Lead - Colombia to generate and maintain contact with companies in Colombia and negotiate corporate policies that reduce animal suffering in the food industry. The focus is ending intensive confinement practices, especially for hens.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, reporting to Sr. Lead Programs - Colombia. Fluent Spanish and advanced English are required.

Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries in the Global South, specifically Latin America and Southeast Asia, to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate food choices. It uses negotiations, investigations, peaceful direct actions and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of farmed animals and help build a world in which no animals are exploited for food. Animal Charity Evaluators rated Sinergia Animal as one of the world's most effective animal protection organizations.

Responsibilities

• Research and build a database of food and retail companies’ profiles, policies and key contacts.
• Research and develop support materials about the organization’s animal welfare asks.
• Host corporate meetings and prepare presentations for stakeholders, including executives, directors and producers, to persuade companies to adopt animal welfare policies in their supply chains.
• Consistently establish permanent contact with key corporate contacts via email.
