Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

Vistance Networks is seeking a qualified attorney to support its business in the Latin American region as part of its CALA legal team. Under the direction of Vistance Networks’ Managing Counsel, the role provides legal counsel, advice and guidance for the Company’s regional operations and commercial operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing policies, procedures and standard contract templates that support sound contracting practices and commercial activity consistent with Vistance Networks’ business objectives.
• Help communicate templates, policies and procedures throughout the Company through training and other methods.
• Advise and collaborate with business teams and support functions on commercial, compliance, employment, real estate and corporate matters.
• Coordinate with other corporate functions to support a consistent, risk-based approach across relevant areas.
• Advise stakeholders on contracts with customers, suppliers and other third parties, including drafting, reviewing and analyzing contractual terms.
• Support the Human Resources department on matters arising in the region.
• Support legal matters across the region, including commercial matters, legal compliance, anticorruption, trade and other applicable laws, labor and employment, corporate secretarial matters, real estate, procurement and other general legal matters.

Requirements

• Qualified attorney.
