Descripción del empleo

About Anker InnovationsAnker Innovations is a global leader in consumer electronics and smart devices, with a portfolio of beloved brands including Anker (charging), Soundcore (audio), eufy (smart home), and Nebula (projection). With products sold in 100+ countries and annual revenue exceeding $2.5 billion USD, we are the #1 selling charging brand on Amazon globally and a top player in smart home and audio categories worldwide. We are now expanding our presence in Latin America and seeking an entrepreneurial Country Sales Manager to lead our Full Sales & Distribution (FSD) business across Argentina and five neighboring countries.Role OverviewAs the Country Sales Manager – Argentina & Southern Cone, you will own the full P&L and go-to-market execution for Anker's entire brand portfolio across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for a seasoned sales leader who understands the nuances of emerging-market distribution, thrives in volatile macroeconomic environments, and can build a scalable distributor network from the ground up.You will be the face of Anker in the region — driving channel strategy, managing distributor relationships, and delivering revenue growth across all product categories.Key Responsibilities1. Distributor & Channel ManagementIdentify, appoint, and manage master distributors and sub-distributors across all 6 markets.Negotiate commercial terms, trade margins, and annual sales targets with distribution partners.Build and maintain a structured distributor scorecard covering sell-in, sell-out, inventory health, and AR (accounts receivable).Develop and execute channel expansion plans — from consumer electronics specialist chains (e.g., Musimundo, París) to supermarkets, department stores, and emerging e-commerce platforms.2. Sales Strategy & P&L OwnershipOwn the full-country P&L: revenue, gross margin, channel spend, and trade marketing budget.Set annual and quarterly sales targets by country, channel, and product category; track performance against plan.Design pricing and promotion strategies adapted to local market conditions, including installment-payment (cuotas) frameworks critical to Argentine consumer purchasing behavior.Adapt to macroeconomic volatility — currency fluctuations, import restrictions, inflation — with agile commercial strategies.3. Market Intelligence & Competitive AnalysisMonitor competitor activity (Samsung, JBL, Xiaomi, Belkin, local brands) across the region.Build a systematic market intelligence framework covering channel pricing, promotional calendars, and category share shifts.Provide bi-weekly market insights and sell-out reports to the LATAM regional team and Shenzhen HQ.4. Cross-Regional CoordinationServe as the accountability for the AR+5 cluster (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru), ensuring consistent brand execution across all markets.Coordinate with the LATAM regional head and Shenzhen HQ on product allocation, logistics, and marketing support.Travel regularly to distributor markets for business reviews, channel audits, and relationship building.5. Go-to-Market ExecutionLead new product launches across all 6 markets in partnership with the regional marketing team.Manage trade marketing assets, retail POS materials, and in-store brand visibility.Drive channel-specific campaigns (bundled promotions, seasonal events, financing promotions) to maximize sell-through.Qualifications & RequirementsMust-Have3+ years of sales or channel management experience in consumer electronics, consumer durables, or FMCG — with at least 2 years covering Argentina.Proven track record of managing multi-country distributor networks (Southern Cone experience strongly preferred).A deep understanding of retail channels of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru — specialist chains (Musimundo, Frávega, Ripley, París, etc.), supermarkets (Coto, Carrefour, etc.).Fluent Spanish and business-proficient English (written and spoken — for cross-regional communication with LATAM and global HQ).P&L management experience — comfortable with revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and trade spend allocation.Nice-to-HaveExperience working with a global brand entering or scaling in Latin America — particularly in consumer electronics or mobile accessories.Existing relationships with major Argentine retailers and distributors.Familiarity with Amazon / Mercado Libre marketplace operations as a complement to offline channels.Experience navigating Argentine import regulations (SIRA/SPI, customs clearance) and logistics challenges.Portuguese language skills (for cross-border coordination with Brazil).Who You AreEntrepreneurial & hands-on — comfortable building processes from scratch in an ambiguous environment.Resilient & adaptable — have managed through Argentina's economic cycles and know how to pivot when the rules change.Relationship-driven — earn trust quickly with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders across cultures.Data-informed — ground commercial decisions in sell-out data, not intuition alone.Bias for action — would rather test a promo in one store tomorrow than plan it for three months. What We OfferCompetitive compensation — base salary (12 months) + performance-based annual bonus, aligned with Anker's global banding structure.Global brand platform — represent a portfolio of #1-selling brands with real consumer recognition.Autonomy & ownership — run your region like a business, with direct access to LATAM and global leadership.Career growth — Anker is scaling aggressively in Latin America; this role is a launchpad for regional leadership.Travel & exposure — regular travel across the Southern Cone, plus periodic visits to Shenzhen HQ and LATAM regional summits.Comprehensive benefits — in line with Argentine labor law (Ley 20.744) and market practice.
