CPA Accountant - Hybrid Role

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year | Hybrid | Santurce, PR

What You Will Do
- Own the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close- Prepare and file Puerto Rico local tax returns, including corporate, individual, pass-through entities, and payroll-related filings- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules- Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations and coordinate with external auditors as needed- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function
What We Are Looking For
- CPA license or CPA candidate with active progress toward licensure- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field- Experience with the full accounting cycle- Knowledge of Puerto Rico local tax compliance, including corporate and individual filings- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Bilingual – English and Spanish- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
