Key Responsibilities: Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools such as Splunk and QRadar Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents promptly Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to uncover risks Implement robust security controls and industry best practices Perform risk assessments and comprehensive security audits Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards Investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed incident reports Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts Required Skills: Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and endpoint security technologies Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk or QRadar Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP protocols Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001 Basic scripting skills in Python or PowerShell are a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field is required.
