Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Kreitech is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to enhance security across its products and platforms, with a focus on advanced pentesting, cloud environments, and AI for security assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute advanced pentests on cloud infrastructure and modern web applications.
• Define test plans, scope, and effort estimations independently.
• Identify and exploit complex vulnerabilities, document findings, and provide remediation guidance.
• Develop technical and executive reports and deliver debriefs to stakeholders.
• Build and integrate AI agents for pentesting automation and scaling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on SSDLC improvements and cloud hardening practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of offensive security or pentesting experience focused on cloud and web apps.
• Expertise in cloud and web pentesting, including IAM abuse, OWASP Top 10, and REST/GraphQL API security.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and cloud-native tools such as AWS, Azure, and GCP CLIs.
• Ability to develop custom tools and scripts in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of SSDLC, threat modeling, secure coding practices, and CI/CD security.
• Experience using AI, LLMs, or agents in offensive security workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Nice to have: OSCP, OSEP, or AWS Security Specialty certifications; mobile pentesting, red teaming, or CI/CD ecosystem knowledge.
