Data Analyst

We’re hiring a Data Analyst to support a US-based client, working fully remote from Honduras. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with advanced SQL, reporting platforms, and cloud data services—supporting multiple client environments and collaborating closely with a high-performing US-based team. Success in this role means delivering accurate, actionable insights, building reliable reporting solutions, and helping clients make smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You’ll DoWrite, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and analysis Develop and manage SSRS reports, dashboards, and subscriptions for operational and executive reporting Partner with business stakeholders to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements Assist with data modeling to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across datasets Integrate data from multiple sources into reporting and BI environments Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight Collaborate with data engineering teams to troubleshoot data quality issues and improve pipelines Utilize AWS services (Redshift, S3, Athena, SageMaker Studio / Unified Studio) for data analysis and storage Maintain documentation for queries, reports, and data sources to support governance and knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For
• Proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, optimization techniques) • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with SSRS (datasets, expressions, parameters, report design) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL) • Understanding of data normalization, ETL processes, and relational data modeling • Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions • English – B2 level or higher (written and spoken)
Preferred Skills • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon QuickSight • Exposure to AWS ecosystem — Redshift, S3, Athena, SageMaker Studio / Unified Studio • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, or scripting (Python, R) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
