Data Analyst – Intermediate / SeniorThe opportunities listed below are positions with our clients in Costa Rica & Mexico, not necessarily internal roles at our company*Job SummaryWe are looking for Intermediate and Senior Data Reporting & Analytics professionals to join a data-driven team focused on transforming complex information into actionable business insights.Depending on your level of experience, you will support or lead data-informed decision-making, develop and automate reporting and Business Intelligence solutions, analyze data across multiple sources, and build analytical and statistical models. This opportunity is open to professionals with 2+ years of relevant experience, as well as highly experienced profiles with up to 10+ years of experience.Core ResponsibilitiesAnalyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.Develop, implement, and automate reporting and Business Intelligence solutions, including dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports.Gather, query, merge, extract, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and accuracy.Develop and validate analytical and/or statistical models to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into analytical solutions, and communicate findings through compelling reports and presentations.Define and calculate key metrics and perform descriptive, correlational, inferential, and/or predictive analyses.Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, operational efficiencies, and overall business performance.Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.Minimum Qualifications2+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Science, or a directly related field. Candidates with 5–10+ years of experience are also encouraged to apply and may be considered for more senior opportunities.Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.Experience with data extraction, data analysis, and data visualization.Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights with business operations and decision-making.English proficiency and strong communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings to different audiences.Preferred QualificationsExperience with open-source analytical/programming tools such as Python.Experience with Databricks.Experience developing or working with analytical and/or statistical models.Understanding of healthcare operations is a plus.Previous leadership or mentoring experience is valued for more senior-level opportunities.*When you apply to this position, you agree that Vereda Labs can share your information with its clients for recruiting purposes.
