Data Analyst

About the role

Vereda Labs lists opportunities with its clients in Costa Rica and Mexico; these are not necessarily internal roles at Vereda Labs. The team is focused on transforming complex information into actionable business insights. Professionals will support or lead data-informed decision-making, develop and automate reporting and Business Intelligence solutions, analyze data from multiple sources, and build analytical and statistical models.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and automate reporting and Business Intelligence solutions, including dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports.
• Gather, query, merge, extract, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Develop and validate analytical and/or statistical models to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into analytical solutions, and communicate findings through reports and presentations.
• Define and calculate key metrics and perform descriptive, correlational, inferential, and/or predictive analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, operational efficiencies, and business performance.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Science, or a directly related field.
