Role: Power BI Engineer OR Data AnalystLocation: Colombia (Remote)Employment Type: Contract ( 6 months and good chances of extension)
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support the Finance organization by designing,developing, and maintaining Power BI reporting solutions for financial and operational data.The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Power BI development, advanced data modeling skills,and experience working with financial datasets. While this is primarily a technical BI role, familiarity withFP&A processes and financial reporting is highly preferred.The consultant will work closely with Finance stakeholders to build scalable dashboards, automatereporting processes, and deliver actionable business insights.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.• Build scalable semantic data models optimized for reporting performance.• Develop complex DAX measures and calculations to support business reporting.• Transform and prepare financial data for reporting and analytics.• Work closely with Finance teams to understand reporting requirements and translate businessneeds into technical solutions.• Optimize existing Power BI reports for usability, accuracy, and performance.• Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational reportingthrough BI solutions.• Validate data quality and ensure consistency across reporting environments.• Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer when required.
Required Experience • 5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions.• Strong experience building dashboards and reports from financial data.• Experience supporting Finance organizations or finance-related projects.• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
