Data Business Analyst

About the role

Loymark is looking for a Data Business Analyst to bridge business and technical teams by translating business requirements into data specifications, maintaining data documentation, and ensuring data quality throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries and data guidebooks.
• Gather and document business rules and translate them into technical data requirements.
• Create and maintain data specifications for business and technical teams.
• Perform data quality reviews and validate data accuracy.
• Support client onboarding and ongoing project delivery activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data quality escalations.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and data privacy standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, documentation, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data quality practices.
• Experience documenting business requirements and business rules and translating them into technical or data specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Advanced C1).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms.
• Experience supporting client onboarding or implementation projects.
• Exposure to Snowflake, AWS data services, cloud data warehouses, or lakehouse technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance and data privacy best practices.
