Data Engineer Sr

Position overview: We are seeking a SSr/Senior Data Engineer to work on strategic projects with a focus on data. This professional will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines; building efficient SQL queries; integrating regional data models sourced from different systems; and operating in cloud environments (primarily GCP). Advanced English is mandatory, as communication with international teams will be frequent and sometimes independent.
Responsibilities: • Implement customer focused data models, ensuring integrity, governance, and scalability. • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Build and manage data pipelines in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform). • Integrate customer data models from different systems, ensuring consistency and information quality. • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data solutions. • Ensure data security, quality, and compliance across all processes. • Document processes, models, and data flows. • Work on integrating data from diverse sources and systems.
Requirements: • 4+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on customer data modeling.. • Experience in data engineering with a focus on customer data models. • Strong command of SQL, including complex query development. • Hands on experience in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Proven experience with GCP BigQuery. • Experience integrating data across different systems. • Knowledge of data integration, ETL, and governance tools. • Advanced English, with the ability to communicate independently with native speakers. • Strong teamwork, resilience, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice to have: • Experience with SAP (ECC, S/4HANA). Master Data • Expertice in Salesforce Master data • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices. • Google Cloud Platform certifications. • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data manipulation. • Experience with the master data management tool Reltio.
