Core Responsibilities:System Design & Enterprise Strategy: Lead the design, development, implementation, and architecture of end-to-end data integration solutions, influencing enterprise-wide strategy and operating with full autonomy in technical and strategic decisions.Integration Framework Development: Design scalable, secure, and future-proof ETL/ELT frameworks using standard platforms (Informatica IICS, Azure Data Factory, etc.), covering scheduled through real-time ingestion patterns to Fabric, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.Application-to-Application Integration: Design, develop, and set middleware standards and frameworks for Application-to-Application integrations and data automation using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and Webhooks.Data Quality, Governance & Compliance: Ensure data is extracted and delivered with a high level of validity, completeness, security, and governance. Uphold data integrity, privacy, and compliance standards, staying ahead of the legislative and regulatory curve.Operational Excellence & Automation: Own monitoring and maintenance of existing systems, including custom alerting solutions, and drive automation and innovation across data pipelines to ensure timely, efficient delivery.Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and end-users to translate requirements into automated solutions, leading cross-functional initiatives and championing innovation.Mentorship & Team Development: Lead skill development, knowledge transfer, and training of junior engineers to elevate the team's overall capability.Must Have Requirements:Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred), with 8+ years of experience in a related data/integration role.ETL/ELT Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, including parameterisation, incremental/delta load techniques, and both scheduled and real-time ingestion patterns.Data Integration Platforms: Advanced expertise with enterprise data integration platforms (e.g., Informatica IICS/PowerCenter, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Dell Boomi).SQL & Scripting: Expertise in SQL and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).Application-to-Application Integration: Proficiency and expertise developing A2A integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and XML.Data Warehousing: Proficiency and expertise in data warehousing and integration concepts.Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an advanced ability to communicate complex technical designs and processes (including tailored diagrams and flows) to non-technical audiences.Communication: You must have excellent communication skills to articulate complex infrastructure concepts to stakeholders. Your English proficiency must be at a "Conversational" fluency level (B2 CEFR equivalent) or higher.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project) and a solid understanding of methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.Automation & Innovation: Demonstrated track record of driving automation and innovation across enterprise data pipelines.Leadership: Prior experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional data initiatives at an enterprise scale.Fenix Project Hiring Requirements:To be considered for a position at Fenix Project, please note the following requirements:A residency requirement applies to many of our roles.
