We are currently looking for experienced Workplace Advanced (Network Smart Hands) Field Engineers to join our growing network of freelance technicians across the United States.Role OverviewAs a Workplace Advanced Field Engineer, you will provide onsite IT infrastructure, Smart Hands, and network support while working closely with remote engineering teams to resolve technical issues and complete project-based assignments.Key Responsibilities✅ Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, projectors, TVs, telephony devices, and site security equipment.✅ Perform network troubleshooting and assist with switches, routers, and firewall administration under the guidance of the remote resolver team.✅ Support data center operations and application infrastructure.✅ Configure routers and switches under remote supervision.✅ Assist with hardware integration, operating systems, and network components.✅ Support backup, tape, and Exchange infrastructure when required.✅ Prepare technical reports and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.Required Skills2–5 years of IT Field Support or Smart Hands experienceNetwork troubleshootingSwitches & RoutersFirewallsDesktop & Laptop SupportStructured CablingData Center SupportHardware Installation & ReplacementExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently on customer sitesTraining RequirementAll selected Field Engineers must complete a free 1-hour online Nutanix Hardware Replacement Training provided by Hemmersbach.
