DevOps Architect

About the role

InfiCare Staffing is seeking an IT Operations Architect to design and govern automation frameworks for cloud and infrastructure operations. The role standardizes Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell assets into reusable Azure Pipelines templates, supporting consistent provisioning, tagging, security, and cost tracking across environments. It also embeds AI-assisted engineering into workflows across AWS, Azure, GCP, and third-party platforms.

Responsibilities

• Standardize Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell automation into modular Azure Pipelines YAML templates with parameterization, service connections, environments, and REST-triggered workflows.
• Integrate infrastructure as code into CI/CD by authoring Ansible playbooks, adapting PowerShell scripts into pipeline-native tasks, and implementing secure secret management with HashiCorp Vault.
• Deploy and maintain compliance as code using AWS Config conformance packs, Azure Policy initiatives, and Terraform-based governance patterns.
• Implement automated validation, including plan-diff gates, contract tests, and API and pipeline test automation.
• Apply multi-cloud reasoning across AWS, Azure, and GCP to design provisioning patterns and understand resource dependencies.
• Use AI engineering assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Claude Code, or equivalent to generate and refactor Terraform modules, pipeline YAML, and documentation; validate AI-generated infrastructure as code before plan or apply.
• Use AI to troubleshoot pipeline failures, Terraform state issues, and policy violations.
• Accelerate integrations with GCP, Morpheus, ServiceNow, and other platforms using AI tools to interpret provider documentation.
