About the role

Simera is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented dispatcher with previous experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatch operations. The role involves coordinating daily dispatch activities, monitoring schedules, communicating with drivers and logistics teams, and supporting smooth, efficient operations.

The position begins part-time during the training period, with the expectation of transitioning to full-time employment afterward. Candidates must be comfortable working rotating or assigned shifts, which may occasionally include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily dispatch operations, including pickups, deliveries, and schedule updates.
• Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve operational issues.
• Track shipments, routes, and delivery schedules.
• Handle last-minute changes, delays, and urgent dispatch requests.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, reports, and operational documentation.
• Support communication and coordination across teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or a similar role.
• Availability to work a shift-based schedule, including occasional weekends.
• Strong English communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize urgent requests, and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, or logistics management tools is preferred.
