About the role
Vivaro Nearshore is looking for a Dispatcher to support one of its U.S.-based clients and help keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll coordinate with customers, drivers, field teams, and internal departments to manage requests and schedules, helping ensure the right people, vehicles, and resources are in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Receive and coordinate service requests, work orders, and incoming calls.
- Dispatch drivers, technicians, field personnel, or other resources based on schedules, priorities, and availability.
- Communicate with customers and field teams by phone, email, messaging platforms, and other channels.
- Monitor ongoing jobs and assignments, and provide customers with updates on schedules, estimated arrival times, delays, or changes.
- Coordinate routes and assignments to help use time and resources efficiently.
- Manage schedule changes, cancellations, urgent requests, and unexpected situations.
- Follow up with drivers, technicians, customers, and other parties to help ensure requests are completed correctly and on time.
- Keep schedules, work orders, customer information, and job details accurate and up to date.
- Identify potential scheduling or operational issues, prioritize multiple requests, and document important information, incidents, delays, and completed assignments.
- Work closely with the team to support smooth daily operations.
