NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Document Analyst to work remotely from San José, Costa Rica with our global client.
Responsibilities:
· Primary responsibility (approximately 50% of time; may vary based on operational needs): Independently manage the capture, classification, description, preservation, and safeguarding of electronic records, in accordance with confidentiality, transparency, and quality standards established.· Maintain, update, and ensure the quality and reliability of archival instruments, repositories, and databases, ensuring records are accurately described and accessible to end users.· Facilitate timely access to records and actively support the retrieval of information required to comply with the customer's information access policies.· Coordinate with information technology counterparts to support the maintenance, optimization, and proper functioning of document management and archival systems.· Contribute to the long‑term preservation of institutional records by applying retention schedules, preservation practices, and safeguarding guidelines.· Support initiatives and tasks aimed at improving administrative and operational processes applicable to the records management standards and contributes to institutional process optimization.· Perform other duties aligned with the purpose and scope of the position, as assigned by the supervisor.
Technologies and Tools
· Solid knowledge of records management and archival principles, including classification schemes/filing plans, retention schedules, records lifecycle management, metadata and description practices, and the application of institutional taxonomies.· Proven experience managing electronic records, including capture/upload processes, metadata definition, quality control, naming conventions, version control, retrieval, and support for internal users.· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.· Hands‑on experience with records management systems (e.g., SharePoint, ezShare, Teams or similar platforms).· Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and oral. Portuguese or French are considered a plus.· Bachelor’s degree in Archival Science.· A minimum of 4 years of experience in records management.
