About the role
National Chain Group is a jewelry manufacturing company with operations in the San Isidro Free Zone, Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic. The company is looking for a highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented Document Control / BOM Specialist to support its jewelry manufacturing facility.
The role involves creating, transcribing, managing, updating, and controlling technical documentation and bills of materials (BOMs) related to jewelry products and manufacturing processes. It also includes migrating existing information from the current system to a new system and ensuring transferred information is accurate, complete, and consistent.
Responsibilities
- Create BOMs for new products when required and maintain existing BOM information, including multilevel BOMs.
- Review technical information and identify differences, inconsistencies, or incomplete data.
- Make corresponding corrections and follow up on discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with Engineering and other internal teams to maintain accurate, organized, updated, and traceable technical documentation.
Requirements
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken, is essential for handling technical documentation in English.
- Organization, attention to detail, teamwork, accuracy, and continuous development are valued.
