Key Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across interstate routes, maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations. Manage timely delivery of freight while adhering to schedules and customer requirements. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly. Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with federal and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues. Demonstrate commitment to safety standards, reducing incidents and contributing to a strong safety record. Support company initiatives for fuel efficiency and cost control during operations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge. What We're Looking For Required: Valid CDL license with 2-3 years of over-the-road driving experience. Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road. Good communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions. Preferred: Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS navigation systems.
