Main Purpose of the Role
Welocalize is looking for an English (en-US) into Dutch (nl-NL) linguist with experience in the field of Marketing, Informational, Product, Legal, Support related documents.
This is an on-going freelance and remote position.
*Please note that it is mandatory for the linguist to be physically based in a US‑aligned timezone (including timezones across North America, Central America or South America); candidates willing to work US hours from other regions will not be considered.
Project Details
Location: Remote (US-aligned timezone); The linguist must provide PST coverage
Expected Volume: Daily. Approximately 3 - 4 hours per day

Requirements

Native or near‑native proficiency in Dutch (nl-NL) with excellent command of US English
Proven experience editing, translating and proofreading English (en-US) to Dutch (nl-NL) content
5+ years of professional translation AND copy-editing experience
Demonstrated experience translating informational, marketing, legal, product and support content
Experience using CAT tools
Strong communication skills, proactivity and openness to feedback and revisions
Must be located in an US-aligned timezone
