Ecommerce Specialist

About the role

The Functionary is hiring an Ecommerce Associate to support a leading organization in the manufacturing and consumer products industry. The role focuses on ecommerce operations, product content management, digital merchandising, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Contract type: Long Term Contract. Full-time availability is required; the exact schedule will be provided later in the process. Advanced English (C1) is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ecommerce product listings and online catalogs.
• Analyze product data, assortment performance, and digital shelf opportunities.
• Support product setup, content updates, and catalog management initiatives.
• Coordinate content syndication and product information across multiple platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, content quality, and ecommerce performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, and IT teams.
• Conduct product audits, gap analyses, and performance reviews.
• Ensure product information, specifications, and pricing remain accurate across channels.
• Support ecommerce growth and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in Ecommerce, Digital Merchandising, Sales Support, or Ecommerce Operations.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience managing product listings, catalog maintenance, or content syndication.
• Experience working with ecommerce platforms, retailer portals, or related systems.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
