EH&S Sr Associate

About the role

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking an EH&S Sr Associate in Juncos, Puerto Rico. The role provides technical expertise for the management of Environmental Health & Safety programs. Under minimal supervision, the associate performs EH&S duties for program design, development, and implementation and serves as a technical EH&S specialist.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EH&S federal, state, and local regulations.
• Evaluate existing and new regulations and their impact upon operations.
• Independently take actions with impact in the area of responsibility and programs.
• Support shutdowns, startups, and other project-related activities outside normal working hours when required.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or higher degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related technical field is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, and OSHA certifications are not required but are highly preferred and considered.
• Knowledge of EH&S regulations, industry standards, and risk management principles applicable to construction, engineering, and manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installations within regulated industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in Process Safety Management (PSM), Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), Management of Change (MOC), hazardous and compressed gases, pressure safety, machine safeguarding, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), construction safety, and fire and life safety systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical specifications is preferred.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other electronic EH&S management systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills.
