EHS Supervisor

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking an EHS Supervisor to provide Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership at the site and support compliance with EHS objectives, targets, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with Eaton EHS requirements and legal requirements, and stop processes or behaviors that do not conform to EHS policies and procedures.
• Maintain the site’s ISO 14001 certification and provide accurate, complete EHS metrics reports.
• Ensure timely closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings.
• Support the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, including policy, objectives, targets, and operational controls for significant environmental aspects.
• Manage environmental compliance programs for air emissions, water, waste, and environmental risk.
• Attend regulatory inspections and lead environmental projects, including energy and waste reduction and zero waste to landfill.
• Monitor training programs required by the MESH System and ISO 14001:2015 certification.
• Communicate national, area, and local regulatory requirements and ensure documents are available in local languages.
• Manage public and governmental authority interfaces involving adverse findings and enforcement actions, direct actions during crises, and oversee site security.
• Build an EHS culture that engages employees in EHS teams and processes.
