Electrical Site Supervisor

POSCO E&C Panama is looking for an Electrical or Electromechanical Engineer to join our MEP Department at the Patios y Talleres (Depot) of Line 3 of the Panama Metro.
The position is focused on electrical site supervision, subcontractor coordination, technical reporting, testing and commissioning activities associated with the electrical and auxiliary systems installed throughout the Depot facilities.

Main ResponsibilitiesSupervise electrical installation and construction activities performed by subcontractors throughout the Depot facilities.Monitor site progress and verify compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, procedures and project requirements.Perform field inspections of electrical installations, equipment, panels and associated systems.Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, control schematics and technical documentation.Prepare daily, weekly, inspection and technical progress reports.Follow up on pending works, punch list items, technical observations and corrective actions.Coordinate site activities with subcontractors and other engineering disciplines.Support inspections and verification activities prior to energization and commissioning.Participate in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Site Integration Tests (SIT), including internal tests and tests performed with the Client.Record test results, observations, deficiencies and corrective actions.Support energization, commissioning, troubleshooting and final system handover activities.Coordinate technical matters with engineering, construction, administrative and international project personnel.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.Valid professional license (“Idoneidad”) issued by Panama’s Junta Técnica de Ingeniería y Arquitectura (JTIA) is required.Preferably 1 to 5 years of professional experience.Basic to intermediate knowledge of:Low-voltage electrical installationsElectrical distribution boardsCircuit breakers and protection systemsElectrical measurementsControl systemsAuxiliary electrical systemsAbility to read and understand:Electrical drawingsSingle-line diagramsWiring diagramsControl schematicsEquipment datasheetsTechnical specificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Ability to perform field supervision and prepare clear technical reports.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Language RequirementsProfessional working proficiency in English is mandatory.The selected candidate must be able to:Participate in technical and coordination meetings in English.Communicate directly with Korean administrative and technical personnel.Write and respond to professional emails in English.Explain technical issues, site conditions, progress and test results in English.Understand technical documentation written in English.Korean language skills are considered a plus.
Work Schedule RequirementsAvailability to work on a rotating schedule, Monday through Saturday.Availability for field work throughout the Line 3 Depot facilities.Flexibility to support testing, commissioning, energization and coordination activities according to project requirements.
