The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills for elementary-level students. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and materials, leading classroom activities, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback. The teacher will manage classroom routines, maintain a safe and respectful learning environment, and communicate regularly with families and colleagues about student development. The role also involves participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events, and collaborating with other teachers to support bilingual learning.Qualifications Ability to design and deliver age-appropriate English language lessons that develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.Skills in classroom management, student motivation, and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.Experience using varied teaching strategies, educational resources, and basic technology tools to enhance instruction.Competence in assessing student learning, keeping accurate records, and providing constructive feedback to learners and families.Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with colleagues, administrators, and families in a bilingual school context.Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Languages, or a related field; teaching certification or license is preferred.Fluency in English and at least conversational Spanish is highly beneficial.Prior experience teaching elementary-level students, ideally in a bilingual or international school setting.
