Work Schedule:Availability to work any assigned shift on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or holidays. Monthly schedules will be provided. Shifts may be 8 or 12 hours. Potential shift times include 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, subject to business needs and staffing requirements. Candidates must be available to work weekends with flexibility for any shift.

Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse Specialty will provide patient-facing care in an onsite clinical setting. The role will administer ordered therapies, complete assessments, and ensure compliance with protocols, standards, and regulations. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership to deliver safe, timely, and effective care across adult and pediatric populations, including emergency presentations.Responsibilities:Perform initial assessments and triage, including prioritization and vital signs.Administer intravenous, intramuscular, oral, and other medications per medical orders and protocols.Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and response to therapy; evaluate and document outcomes.Manage wounds, hemorrhages, fractures, burns, and other emergencies; prepare and assist with procedures.Coordinate transfers as needed and collaborate with specialist physicians.Complete admissions as directed; conduct focused physical assessments and consult NP when indicated.Ensure medication orders are complete, accurate, and current prior to treatment.Educate patients and families on therapy plans and care instructions.Document evaluations, interventions, treatments, patient responses, and critical events promptly and accurately.Comply with isolation protocols, infection control procedures, and safety measures; verify emergency equipment readiness.Collaborate on supply inventory management and perform effective shift handoffs.Adhere to scope of practice, facility policies, INS standards, and HIPAA requirements; report and follow up on significant changes.Required Skills & Qualifications:Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Puerto Rico; multi-state licensure if providing services in multiple states.Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; Emergency Room experience required.Knowledge of IV therapy and administration aligned with INS standards and facility protocols.Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and coordination of care across adult and pediatric populations.Understanding of HIPAA and applicable state, local, and federal regulations.Preferred Skills:BSN and 3+ years of related experience; prior management experience.Valid Health Certificate and Law 300 Certificate.ACLS and PALS certifications.Active professional nursing association membership.Vaccination record and satisfactory completion of Tuberculosis testing; Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver for applicable business units.
