Endpoint Engineer

About the role

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to manage and support endpoint management platforms, primarily Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune (MEM). The role covers device lifecycle management, patching, application packaging and deployment, policy enforcement, troubleshooting, compliance, and platform health across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SCCM (ConfigMgr), Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM), and co-management (SCCM and Intune integration).
• Monitor platform health, including site servers, distribution points, connectors, and sync status. Troubleshoot client-side and server-side issues.
• Plan, deploy, and monitor monthly Windows update cycles through SCCM or Intune. Ensure compliance with defined SLAs and patch baselines, troubleshoot patch failures and deployment issues, generate patch compliance and audit reports, and coordinate patch validation with application and business teams.
• Package applications using MSI, EXE, and Intune Win32 formats. Deploy through SCCM and Intune, and handle testing, validation, version upgrades, rollback strategies, deployment failures, and detection logic issues.
• Manage device configurations using Group Policy (GPO), Intune configuration profiles, compliance policies, and conditional access. Enroll and manage Windows and mobile devices if applicable, and ensure endpoint compliance with security standards.
• Act as an L2 resolver group for endpoint-related incidents. Troubleshoot software deployment failures, patch compliance gaps, device enrollment issues, and policy conflicts between GPO and Intune.
• Identify recurring issues and support Problem Management.
• Use PowerShell for automation and optimization.
