Engineer 2-3, Software Test

About the role

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking an engineer to design and develop product requirements, test plans, and testing environments for verifying and validating desktop diagnostic applications. The role supports effective and efficient software for Electronic Control Unit (ECU) diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Develop in an agile/scrum environment focused on incremental releases.
• Develop and maintain tests and test applications to validate unit software and software integration systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data management and data flows.
• Automate test cases to support quicker application deployments and verify functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Review software products, databases, and testing environments; recommend and make improvements to software products and tools.
• Document standards and best practices for product development teams.
• Maintain product teams’ test and build environments and automation frameworks.
