Engineering Projects Applications Intern

About the role

SKF Group is looking for a motivated and proactive Engineering Projects & Applications Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in a multinational manufacturing environment, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to real business operations while strengthening technical knowledge.

The role is suited to an engineering student interested in optimization, automation, and project management. It is a one-year, part-time internship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor milestones, timelines, and deliverables for engineering and continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in creating, testing, or optimizing internal tools and digital applications.
• Use AutoCAD or similar software to modify layouts, blueprints, or technical documentation as needed.
• Process project metrics and key performance indicators to generate reports for decision-making.
• Identify process bottlenecks and propose structured engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering, or a related technical field, and enrolled in university in the seventh semester or above.
• AutoCAD or similar CAD software knowledge is desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and Pivot Tables.
• Intermediate English.
• Strong analytical and structural thinking, organizational skills, a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Mandatory university medical insurance (Seguro Facultativo) throughout the entire project.
