About the role
Diaglobal Language School is seeking an English Second Language Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to learners at various proficiency levels. Lessons focus on communicative skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess learner progress through assignments, quizzes, and feedback, and adapt teaching methods to individual and group needs.
- Conduct live virtual classes and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
- Collaborate with the academic team to refine course content and teaching strategies.
- Provide guidance for learners preparing for standardized English exams and participate in periodic training sessions.
- Ensure a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Strong classroom and online English teaching and teaching English as a foreign language skills.
- Effective lesson planning and course organization skills.
- Experience with exam preparation, particularly IELTS and similar English proficiency assessments.
- Clear spoken and written English communication skills and the ability to explain concepts simply.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms, basic technology proficiency, and reliable internet access.
- A relevant teaching qualification or certification, such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA, and prior ESL/EFL teaching experience.
- Strong intercultural awareness, patience, and the ability to support learners from diverse backgrounds.
