Role SummarySeeking a senior Health IT Data Engineer / Healthcare Interface Engineer with expert-level hands-on experience in Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf. The candidate must have strong production support experience in a live healthcare environment and be able to independently develop, troubleshoot, deploy, and support healthcare interfaces in a 24x7/on-call environment.

Must-Have / Non-Negotiable5+ years hands-on Epic Bridges interface development and production support in a live Epic healthcare environment.Epic Bridges Certification – Required.5+ years hands-on HL7 v2.x development and production support using Cloverleaf, InterSystems Ensemble, or Rhapsody.Expert knowledge of HL7 ADT, SIU, ORM, ORU, MDM, DFT, RDE, MFN and related workflows.Strong X12/EDI interface experience.Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve Integration Engine/interface failures.Strong understanding of Epic Bridges ↔ Integration Engine message flow and error scenarios.Experience supporting 24x7 production/on-call environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and support HL7 v2.x interfaces using Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf.Design and support Epic Bridges interfaces and vendor integrations connected to Epic.Perform HL7 message analysis, mapping, troubleshooting, and error resolution.Translate clinical/business requirements into HL7 mappings and interface specifications.Perform Epic-side Bridges build/configuration changes.Support Epic upgrades, including Nova Notes review, regression testing, and end-to-end validation.Monitor interface queues and transaction logs for errors, failures, and latency.Coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate issues and impact.Ensure integrations meet HIPAA and healthcare security requirements.Support production deployments and post-production issues independently.
Strongly PreferredEpic Data Courier certification.FHIR / API-based integration experience.Secure connectivity: VPN, TLS, SFTP.HIE, external registry, and cloud integration experience.Python, Java, .NET, or JavaScript scripting.AI agent development experience.
