Specific background, expectations, and experiences vary by role.The Executive Features Team is responsible for producing high-quality editorial content that supports business priorities and engages key audiences. The team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working across functions to deliver compelling stories and insights. This role reports to the Managing Editor and supports the broader editorial production ecosystem.Work You’ll DoAs a Production Specialist supporting the Executive Features Team, you will play a critical role in enabling a high-performing editorial function by managing the end-to-end production lifecycle of content. This role sits at the intersection of editorial operations, content production, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring that stories move efficiently from creation through publication and post-production.You will partner closely with editors, authors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support editorial workflows, maintain data integrity, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of content. From managing story records and preparing content for publishing to coordinating reviews and supporting social media strategy, you will help drive operational excellence across a fast-paced editorial environment.This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys solving complex coordination challenges, and can independently manage multiple workflows. Editorial Operations & AdministrationMaintain and manage editorial records, ensuring accuracy and completenessUpdate and manage templates, forms, and documentation within team systemsRespond to requests for metrics, reporting, and editorial informationSupport ongoing reporting and tracking of editorial activities
Content Production & PublishingSet up and manage story records, including entering and maintaining dataPrepare content for editing and publishing, ensuring adherence to standardsSupport image sourcing and editing, including downloading and cropping artworkCoordinate and secure required risk, compliance, and editorial reviewsResearch and track down hard-to-find information across a complex organization
Post-Production & DistributionUpdate and maintain published content as neededProvide support for social media strategy and content distributionAssist with author communications, including follow-ups and acknowledgmentsWorkflow & Stakeholder ManagementGuide content through multi-step review processes across business linesManage multiple concurrent workflows, ensuring deadlines are metProactively follow up with stakeholders to prevent delays and bottlenecks
Strong candidates should possess:Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong attention to accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and workflows simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in navigating complex organizationsSelf-starter who can work independently and proactively
Required qualifications:Bachelor’s degree2+ years of experienceStrong English and Spanish, oral and written communication skills; particularly via emailComfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook)Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)Social media and digital content experienceBasic image editing capabilitiesFamiliarity with AI tools and prompt usageAbility to travel as neededMust be legally authorized to work in Costa Rica without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a professional services or similar environmentExposure to editorial, publishing, or content production workflows
Additional InformationFull-time role supporting a team operating in EST/CST/PST time zones
