Exploration ManagerSan Juan Province, Argentina | On-Site | Copper Exploration & DiscoveryWe are partnering with a growing mineral exploration company advancing one of the world's largest undeveloped copper deposits, located in Argentina. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead all geological activities across a district-scale land position, drive new discoveries, and communicate the project's story to global capital markets.This is a discovery role. The project's extensive mineral rights host multiple identified porphyry targets awaiting systematic exploration, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to build their professional legacy through resource expansion and greenfield discoveries while leading a team of 10+ geologists.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will lead and deliver geological strategy across the full project lifecycle, from target generation through to resource definition. You will also play a central role in capital markets communication, technical leadership, and the ongoing development of the exploration team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead brownfield expansion and greenfield discovery programs across the districtDevelop integrated exploration strategies using geological, geochemical, and geophysical dataDrive resource growth aligned with corporate objectives and capital markets milestonesIntegrate AI and emerging technologies to enhance target generation and operational efficiencySupervise all geological activities; direct team leaders and 10+ permanent geologistsOversee 3D geological modeling, QA/QC protocols, and data interpretationAnalyse drill results to inform exploration projections and resource estimatesAuthor press releases announcing exploration results and resource updatesPrepare and deliver presentations to the Board of Directors and investorsTranslate geological value into compelling narratives for stakeholders

About You

Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Geological SciencesQP designation (NI 43-101 or equivalent) highly valued8+ years' experience in copper porphyry geology with a track record of exploration leadershipTeam leadership and mentoring experienceArgentine nationality (required)Technical SkillsProficiency in 3D modelling (required), ArcGIS, and other mining softwareStrong capital markets understanding, with the ability to write technical press releasesInterest in applying AI/ML to geological analysisPersonal AttributesAdvanced/bilingual English (required) - fluent communication with international investors and the BoardEntrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for discoveryExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
