About the role
Eaton is seeking a Facilities/ EHS Engineer for its SCM Center of Excellence in Santo Domingo. The role supports the operation, maintenance, and improvement of facility systems and infrastructure, providing technical support, coordinating maintenance and contractor activities, assisting with facility projects, and helping ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for facility equipment and infrastructure to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
- Oversee facility projects and maintenance activities, and work with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and leadership to maintain facility performance and reliability and support continuous improvement.
- Oversee maintenance work orders and execution, providing periodic performance and completion reports.
- Coordinate operational services, including security management (INTERCOM), waste management, water and energy supply, cleaning services (PRIME), landscaping, utilities maintenance, lighting, HVAC systems, and building conditions.
- Support implementation of and compliance with AXA XL risk management requirements.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics of items entering and leaving the facility in compliance with established policies, regulations, and company standards.
- Identify, justify, and support capital expenditure requests and implementation projects related to common areas, facility equipment, and leasehold improvements.
