About the role
People Talent - Acquisition is recruiting a Facilities Supervisor for a leading distributor in Puerto Rico. The role coordinates and carries out preventive and corrective maintenance of the physical plant, helping facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with internal and regulatory standards. It also supports safety, health, and environmental programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, equipment, and critical systems, including electricity, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, refrigeration, and HVAC.
- Coordinate and follow up on contractor and vendor work, ensuring compliance with safety and service policies and standards.
- Support improvement and remodeling projects within the facilities.
- Monitor warehouse and office conditions and identify repair needs or opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with licenses, permits, and regulatory requirements related to the physical plant.
- Maintain current records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the Manager on safety, health, and environmental programs across the facilities.
- Participate in contingency and emergency response plans, helping ensure facility operability.
- Design and develop preventive programs for the physical plant and support their effective, sustainable implementation.
- Report findings, risks, and maintenance needs to the Compliance and Facilities Manager.
- Additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities may be assigned based on employer needs.
